Rocky Mountain Wrestling Camps
Gunnison, Colorado
Program Overview
It is the mission of the Rocky Mountain Wrestling Camps for our campers and coaches to get the most out of our camp to become a Champion in all aspects of wrestling and life. Our technique and competition camp will focus on basic fundamental drills and techniques that will help each wrestler improve. In the same session they will have the opportunity to take the instructed technique and transfer to competition. Each session is equally divided in technique and competition for the wrestlers to develop, yet, most importantly to get a better understanding of how to have fun while improving in our amazing sport of wrestling.
We will emphasize current set-ups, takedowns, breakdowns, pin holds, and pinning combinations. In each session, we will drill previous techniques that have been taught the session before as we build upon the Rocky Mountain Wrestling Camps system. Our staff will teach you how to drill and train properly to become a better wrestler. This camp will have a variety of clinicians giving advice on all aspects of the sport and life to become a better wrestler and person.
