Program Overview

There is no question that the most important skill to the game of hockey is skating. For that reason, Battle Born Hockey School is proud to introduce the Battle Born Power Skating School. This camp offers an extensive, two-day regimen focusing exclusively on balance, edge work, speed, power, and agility for players at all ages and skill levels.

Program Description

Age Requirement:      8+

Dates:                             July 22nd  - 23rd, 2023

Cost:                              $300

Full Camp Program Includes:

  • 6-Hours of On-Ice Instruction
  • 1-Hour of Off-Ice Instruction
  • Official Battle Born Hockey School Jersey
  • Access to Professional Photo and Video Content from Camp
  • Detailed Player Evaluation/Report Card from Coaches

 

 

Program Detail

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

SATURDAY JULY 22, 2023:

2:30pm - 3:00pm:        Check In and Introduction

3:00pm – 3:45pm:       Off-Ice Power Skating Technique

4:15pm – 5:45pm:       On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

7:15pm – 8:45pm:       On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

 

Sunday July 23, 2023:

9:15am - 10:45am: On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

12:00pm - 1:30pm: On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

1:30pm - 2:00pm: Pizzas Will Be Provided by Battle Born @ Skatetown's Cafe

 

*This is a Power Skating Camp.  All On Ice Instruction will be working on Power Skating Techniques including but not limited to, stride work, edges, turning, transitions, carrying the puck while skating, balance, etc.

This clinic was a game changer for how I view the game of hockey. Gaining knowledge on edge work and proper technique, from coaches who are experienced and knowledgeable, has given me way more confidence going into competitive games.

Took myself and four of my sons out for the Battle Born Power Skating Camp in Roseville. This was our first camp, so I didn’t know what to expect, but came out with an improved skating foundation and a reinvigorated love for hockey.
