Program Overview

There is no question that the most important skill to the game of hockey is skating. For that reason, Battle Born Hockey School is proud to introduce the Battle Born Power Skating School. This camp offers an extensive, two-day regimen focusing exclusively on balance, edge work, speed, power, and agility for players at all ages and skill levels.

• 6-Hours of On-Ice Instruction
• 1-Hour of Off-Ice Instruction
• Official Battle Born Hockey School Jersey

8:30am - 9:15am - Check In and Introductions

9:30am – 10:00am:     Off-Ice Power Skating Technique

10:15am – 11:45am:   On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

10:15am – 10:30am: Warm-Up

10:30am – 11:00am:   Stride Work and Edges

11:00am – 11:30am:   Stopping and Starting

11:30am – 11:45am:   Turning and Transitions

2:15pm – 3:45pm:      On-Ice Power Skating Instruction

2:15pm – 2:30pm:      Warm-Up

2:30pm – 3:00pm:      Review Stride, add Puck Handling

3:00pm – 3:30pm:      Stopping and Starting with the Puck

3:30pm – 3:45pm:      Turning and Transitions with the Puck
