Elite intensive camp designed for high-level hockey players (college, junior/AAA)

Program Description

Modeled after elite speed skating clinics at the Olympic Training Center, this one of a kind, five-day intensive includes three hours of ice daily, plus one hour of off-ice intense dryland exercises for a total of 20 hours for the week. On-ice sessions consist of technique, overspeed and transition work. Progression to include passing, shooting and carrying the puck at speed in challenging situations.

Program Detail

Dates:

• July 10 – July 14, 2023 (Mon – Fri)
• Level: Junior/College/18U AAA. 16U/15U AAA by approval
• Size: 12 players Maximum Cost: $1200 (Includes on/off-ice workouts, Tuesday dinner and speaker engagement)

Daily Schedule:

• 9:00am – 10:30am, On-Ice Session 11:00am – 12:00 pm
• Dryland (Speed Skating body-weight exercises) 12:00pm – 2:00 pm
• Lunch and recovery 2:00pm – 3:30pm, On-Ice Session 3:30pm – Sessions done, evening free time
• Tuesday, July 10, 5:30pm-7pm, Dinner and Speaker

This is a high-level, intense camp at altitude. All attendants must be in top physical condition to train 4 hours a day all week. It is highly recommended that if you are coming from lower altitudes that you arrive in Denver or Aspen a couple of days earlier to acclimate so you can get the most of the camp. Remember, hydration is the best way to prevent altitude sickness.
