Program Overview

Founded in 1970, Woodward PA is the first Woodward Camp. Conveniently located near Penn State University, Woodward PA originally began as a gymnastics summer camp. Programming has since expanded to include sports like skateboarding, BMX, mountain bike, and scooter, as well as cheer, dance, digital photography, and video production.

Woodward PA is one of the world’s top training grounds for aspiring athletes of all ability levels. From summer camps and weekend getaways to competitions and specialty programs, Woodward PA offers facilities and instruction for gymnastics, cheer, skateboarding, BMX, scooter, parkour, dance, inline skating, photography, and video production.

Typical Daily Schedule

• 7:30- Rise and shine! Breakfast time
• 9:00- Morning Instruction
• 12:00- Lunch
• 1:00- Afternoon Instruction or Copper Activities (Wrecktangle, chair lift rides, hiking at Copper)
• 4:00- Edge Backyard All Camp Activity Time
• 5:00- Dinner
• 6:00- Open Session in Barn and Camp Activities
• 8:30- All Camp Activity (Campfire, Dodgeball, Camper vs. Staff Challenge, etc.)
• 9:30- Room Check, all campers in rooms
• 10:00- Lights Out!
