Program Overview

At the Spiders, we offer a comprehensive range of youth programs throughout the year. For beginners, our Spiders Ultimate Sports Classes provide a fantastic introduction to the sport in a safe and fun environment. Led by experienced coaches and players, these classes include mini-games, drills, and modified Ultimate games, ensuring that every participant learns fundamental skills while having a blast. For intermediate players looking to enhance their skills, our Spiders Elite Training Clinics offer focused sessions on throwing, handling, cutting, and defending. Led by seasoned coaches and current players, these clinics are perfect for middle school players eager to take their game to the next level. For those seeking more personalized instruction, our Spiders Private Training sessions provide one-on-one or small group coaching tailored to individual needs. Whether preparing for competitive teams or tournaments, our coaches and players are dedicated to helping players develop their skills through pro-style training and conditioning. In addition to our regular programs, we offer exciting summer camps in partnership with local parks and recreation departments. These camps provide full or half-day options for various ages and skill levels, giving campers the chance to hone their skills while enjoying a fun-filled week of Ultimate. We also specialize in bringing Ultimate to special events, schools, and youth groups through our Specialty Programs. Whether it's through clinics, appearances, or other activities, we're committed to spreading the joy of Ultimate throughout the community.

Program Description

Ultimate Frisbee is a safe, engaging sport that teaches skills transferable to any team your child may join. Each Week 1n class your child will learn through play - learning Ultimate with the pros including throwing, catching, and the fundamental X's and O's. Throughout each session we emphasize Spirit of the Game and developing social-emotional skills to help players thrive on any team. Have a blast playing with your friends and the Spiders, Oakland's Professional Ultimate Frisbee team!

Program Detail

Dates: 7/1-7/3, 7/8-7/12 Time: 9:00am-12:00pm AGE: 8 ‐ 11 Cleats (Highly Recommended), bring a water bottle and snack, and wear clothes appropriate to the weather.
