Program Description

2026 RMHS Fall Skills Clinic - Laramie, Wyoming - October 2-4, 2026

RMHS, in partnership with the Laramie Youth Hockey Association, will be hosting a fall skills clinic on October 2-4, 2026, at the Laramie Rink & Event Center. This Coed clinic will be for athletes aged from 2010 to 2019. Group #1 will be a powerskating and stickhandling clinic for the coed birth years from 2015 to 2019. Group #2 will be for the coed birth years from 2010 to 2014, focusing on Defensive & Offensive Positional Training. 

*** To maximize the learning environment, all players in each group will be separated by age and skill level. Goaltenders are welcome! 

***Attention 12-year-old players (2014 Birth Years): you can choose to register for the Powerskating & Stickhandling group or the Defensive & Offensive Positional Training 

Group # 1 - Powerskating & Stickhandling - Ages 6-11 - 2015-2019 Birth Years

October 2-4, 2026 - RMHS is coming to Laramie for a Coed Powerskating & Stickhandling clinic for players born in 2015-2019. The players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level. This will ensure that players train against others of their skill level, providing the best possible training environment. During this clinic, we will focus on edge control, forward and backward strides, all forms of changing direction, agility, and, of course, having some fun between training sessions!

Please note that players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level. This will ensure the players train against players of their skill level for the best possible training environment.

Group #2 - Defensive & Offensive Positioning - Ages 12-16 - 2010-2014 Birth Years - 

October 2-4, 2026

Defensive & Offensive Positional Training
The Defensive segment will cover defensive tactics, coverages, checking, body play, gap control, positioning, defensive theory, transitions, jumping into the play, and defending odd-man rushes. The Offensive segment will focus on offensive theory, face-offs, sustaining an attack, cycling, attacking with speed, odd-man rushes, offense at the puck, offense away from the puck, and support.
