Program Overview
RMHS Mission - Rocky Mountain Hockey Schools provides the finest player development, training and exposure opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels.
We provide the finest hockey instruction available in an exciting positive learning environment for players of all ages. We believe that a players development is determined by his/her own dedication and effort in conjunction with the teaching of a highly trained and motivated staff. All activities and drills are designed to break down and develop each player's critical skills through intensive technique training.
Side by side with this intensive training & development atmosphere, RMHS strives to create a positive, 'no-fear' environment at each camp, where it is OK to fall down, it is OK to fail, and it is OK to struggle with an activity. If the athletes feel safe and secure in their environs, they will feel comfortable pushing the envelope. We make everything fun, and everything safe, where children push themselves and aren't afraid to fail. As we like to say at RMHS, "If you don't fall, you ain't trying!".
We truly believe this is one of the strongest attributes of any RMHS camp. Due to the tireless efforts made by our staff, each player is comfortable with what they are doing, learning what is being taught, and most importantly, improving. RMHS prides itself on its teaching skills, its ability to develop athletes, and most importantly, our instructors. Our instructors are teachers and educators first, passionate hockey players second.
Please take a moment to review the info provided below to better understand who we are, how our staff is trained, and what makes RMHS The Skill & Development Specialists.
RMHS Guarantee - FUN, FUN, FUN!! As we all know, the game is all about making friends, healthy, safe competition, learning invaluable work habits and life lessons, understanding teamwork, and having FUN! Regardless of how much a player improves, how hard they work, and how tired they are at the end of the day, if that player does not have fun, the camp is no good. All RMHS staff members are life long hockey players who eat, sleep, breathe, live and die hockey and it shows in the our attitudes, our approach to the game, and our abilities to enthusiastically share this great game with others. The two most important things at any camp are to have fun, and to learn. You will do both at any RMHS Summer Skill Development Camp, we guarantee it!
