Battle Ready Hockey provides elite youth hockey training led by experienced NCAA and professional players. Founded to give back to the growing hockey community in the Carolinas, our camps focus on skill development, hockey IQ, and mental resilience. With personalized coaching and a passion for the game, we help young players elevate their skills, build confidence, and prepare to succeed both on and off the ice.

Coach Cooper Fensterstock-

Coach Cooper is the founder/director of Battle Ready Hockey. Cooper is local to Charlotte, NC beginning his early hockey career at Extreme Ice Center with the Charlotte Jr. Checkers before moving on to programs like TPH Thunder, Culver Military Academy, and the North Jersey Avalanche. Cooper went on to have a successful junior career with the Amarillo Bulls (NAHL) and the Des Moines Buccaneers (USHL). From there, Cooper went to play at Colorado College (NCAA D1) before transferring to SUNY-Geneseo where he continues his NCAA career as an impactful offensive player. 

Coach Cole Kodsi- 

Cole Kodsi is the CO-founder and CEO of SOFLO Hockey, world renowned summer 3v3 league and lifestyle brand. He is from Boca Raton, Florida and grew up playing hockey at the rink on the beach and played for programs Florida Alliance, Florida Jr Panthers, TPH Thunder, and North Jersey Avalanche. Cole went on to have a successful junior career with the Omaha Lancers (USHL). From there, Cole went to play at Bentley, Union, and Canisius all NCAA D1 programs where he now wraps us his college career. 

Coach Mark Cheremeta-

Mark Cheremeta is another CO-founder of SOFLO Hockey, and is the founder and CEO of hockey mentorship program Top G Hockey. Mark comes to us from Parkland, Florida with a Russian background. He grew up skating in the rink on the beach as well, playing for many youth programs in South Florida. Mark went on to be very succesful in the USHL for the Dubuque Fighting Saints, and had a successful college career playing for prestigious D1 programs Boston University, Ohio State, and Sacred Heart. He is now playing professionally for the Kalamazoo Wings, minor league affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. Mark’s player development knowledge, hockey specific psychology and mindset expertise, and overall experience will add to this elite coaching staff.

Coach Timmy Kent-

Timmy Kent is another Parkland, Florida resident and co-founder of SoFlo Hockey. Timmy grew up playing in South Florida as well, developing into a tactical, skilled playmaker where he had over a point per game in the NAHL for the Maine Nordiques. He spent his college hockey days at top D3 program, Curry College, where he earned All American and all conference accolades. Timmy is now playing for Minnesota Wild’s minor league affiliate Iowa Heartlanders in the ECHL. Timmy’s skill level, hockey IQ, and experience will add a ton of value to our camp.

Coach Nico Blachman-

Nico Blachman joins us as another founder of SOFLO and Miami resident. Nico played in tons of leagues growing up and has tremendous hockey knowledge and experience. His gritty, physical game style matches the SOFLO X Battle Ready brand very well as he is currently an experienced two way forward and fighter in the ECHL for Minnesota Wild’s minor league affiliate Iowa Heartlanders. Nico is in his 5th year of pro and provides value in hockey IQ, mindset, strength and conditioning, and being able to defend yourself on the ice.
