TRUE 12 – The Premier Faceoff Showcase

OVRPWR is proud to be part of the National Faceoff Alliance, the driving force behind TRUE 12, the ultimate faceoff showcase. On Sunday June 1st, the top faceoff specialists from across the Midwest will compete at the Resolute Training Center (Hilliad, OH) in the TRUE 12 National Faceoff Alliance Tryout.

The top athletes in the 2027 and 2028 classes will earn the opportunity to compete at the TRUE 12 National Showcase in Philadelphia on July 31st, where they’ll face off against the best in the country. Tryouts are happening nationwide across different regions, and only the best of the best will be selected for this exclusive national event.

This tryout is also a prime opportunity for younger players in the 2029, 2030, and 2031 classes to gain exposure, get on the radar, and train with elite-level coaches in a high-intensity environment. Whether you're looking to compete at the highest level or develop your skills, this is the place to be!

• Coach - Andrew Vossler
  • CURRENT assistant coach at THE Ohio State University, focusing on faceoff and goalie units
  • Rollins College alumnus; three-time team captain and All-Deep South selection
  • Former assistant coach at Colgate University, serving as first assistant and recruiting coordinator
  • Coached at Jacksonville University, contributing to a five-win improvement and the program’s first Southern Conference Tournament Championship game
  • Coaching career includes positions at John Carroll and Adams State

Program Description

OVRPWR camps and training offers collegiate and professional training for aspiring lacrosse athletes. Our staff is comprised of current and former collegiate and professional players with an intent to simulate the rigors and expectations that lacrosse athletes will face at the highest levels of competition.

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Programming: 2027 - 2028 

• 30 minutes of skill and fundamentals 
• 90 minutes of live faceoffs and evaluations (ending with a tournament) 

Programming: 2029 - 2031 

• 60 minutes of skill and fundamentals 
• 60 minutes of live faceoffs and evaluations (ending with a tournament) 

• $125 one time fee + convenience fees
