Program Overview

Battle Ready Hockey is excited to return to South Florida in June 2026, partnering once again with SoFlo Hockey to bring a high-level youth hockey camp to West Palm Beach, Florida. This year’s camp will be hosted at Palm Beach Ice Works, one of the premier training facilities in the region.

SoFlo Hockey has become a staple of the South Florida hockey scene, serving as a summer training hub where youth, junior, college, and professional players skate at a high pace in competitive environments. Battle Ready Hockey and SoFlo Hockey come together for this camp with a shared goal: to create an experience that challenges players, sharpens habits, and raises standards.

Our coaching staff is made up entirely of players who are currently competing, or who have recently competed, at the NCAA and professional levels. These coaches understand what translates when players move up levels because they have lived it. The focus is on skills, decisions, and habits that hold up in real games, not just drills that look good in practice.

While the camp lasts one week, the goal is to make an impact that goes far beyond it. Players will be pushed, coached honestly, and supported in an environment designed to help them grow on and off the ice.

Program Description

Camp Includes:

• 10 hours of on-ice training (two ice sessions per day)

• 5 hours of structured off-ice training

• Daily chalk talk and video sessions

• Dedicated power skating sessions led by a professional skating coach

• Guest speakers focused on performance, recovery, and mindset

• Elite goaltending instruction with current professional goaltender Billy Girard IV

• SoFlo x Battle Ready custom camp jersey

• End-of-week individual player assessment

• Additional guests and details to be announced

On-ice sessions are designed to address the full spectrum of player development, from skating and puck skills to hockey IQ and execution under pressure. Training blends skill work, situational drills, and competitive play to help players perform confidently in real game environments. Off the ice, the camp takes a holistic performance approach, incorporating movement, recovery, nutrition, and mindset sessions led by experienced guest specialists throughout the week.

Program Detail

• Camp runs Monday through Friday, June 22–26

• Daily arrival time: 8:15 AM

• First ice session begins at 9:00 AM

• Daily pick-up window: 2:45–3:15 PM

Players should bring:

• Full on-ice equipment

• A spare stick for off-ice training

• Athletic shoes and workout attire

Birth year groupings:

• 2008–2012

• 2013–2017

A limited number of goalie spots are available. Goaltenders will receive focused instruction throughout the week from an elite goaltending coach with current professional playing experience.
